Niya Butts, the women's basketball coach at Arizona, saw
things get way out of hand. #Chillin4Charity hashtag seeks to raise money and
awareness for the Kay Yow Foundation, which provides grants and drives
inspiration in the fight against women's cancers. Her hashtag has been used in
more than 13,000 tweets, reaching nearly 32 million people worldwide.
This is an encouraging practice where people could
know the charity event by the hashtag or retweet by the celebrities or famous
sportsmen and sportswomen. Their followers may follow their footsteps and
support the charity events in any forms of help.
